Happy New Year Everyone!

Well it’s the beginning of a brand new year which is always an exciting time. 2008 will bring much success and opportunity as DHM continues to promote and solicit original music from March Hare, Dan and Kim’s solo projects as well as numerous other aspiring and developing artists. There are a number of artists in discussions with DHM, and a new featured artist will be added every month or so.

DHM is providing services for developing artists looking to get established as well as working artists who wish to increase their profile. With many years of experience and an indisputable track record of success, DHM has much to offer and will be assisting clients in various ways throughout the year.

The March Hare CD WONDERLAND continues to be enjoyed by lots of fans and friends and also continues to be shopped and solicited worldwide. Also, more songs are in the works for March Hare in conjunction with DHM. Dan will also continue work on his acoustic CD which will be finished later this year.

Dawn Haze gear is growing as Kim continues to design and develop new clothing and accessories. Cool stuff. Join the fan club and you could win. DHM will post a new winner every month.

Rock and jazz musician Jeff Healey died Sunday in a Toronto hospital after a battle with cancer. He was 41.
Healey lost his sight at age one as a result of Retinoblastoma, a rare form of retinal cancer.
Due to his blindness, Healey taught himself to play guitar with the instrument held across his lap while seated.
His unique playing style, combined with his blues-oriented vocals, earned him a reputation as a teenage musical prodigy. He shared stages with George Harrison, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and March Hare.
He will be sadly missed.

Lots of exciting things are happening at Dawn Haze Music as we continue to actively record and submit songs for publication. The studio is in great shape and putting out some quality music. This is in conjunction with many March Hare shows (corporate, festivals, casinos, and many other events) including trips to Florida, Kananaskis, Saskatoon, Whistler, and more. March Hare continues to be one of Canada’s top show bands with upcoming dates at Actionfest in Summerland, Funtastic in Vernon, and Merritt Mountain Music Festival where March Hare has won fan choice award for the past three years.

On May 10 Dawn Haze Music facilitated a seminar to assist the finalists of the 2008 BC Talent Search be the best they could be. Then on May 19 March Hare performed with them at the Cloverdale Rodeo. It was a tremendous success and all the finalists did a great job. There will be several more performances coming up including Merritt where the winner will be announced on July 12.

Dawn Haze Services have been expanded to not only develop performance seminars but provide individual development services for those who are serious about learning the art of musical entertainment. There is a seminar in the works that will be offered in the next few months, and several aspiring artists will be taking advantage of some personal coaching and development. There is also a new article in the works that will explore the art of singing to a live audience so all aspiring artists will want to be sure and read it.
